A file box worthy of your most important papers.
Your tax forms, birth certificates, insurance papers, keepsakes and household records deserve better than a drawer, shoebox or random pile. The Linen File Box gives everything a dedicated place, without sacrificing the look of your space.
Designed to withstand trends and last a lifetime.
With a structured linen exterior, secure lid, and timeless neutral finish, this isn’t the file box you hide in the back of a closet and never see again. It’s the one you keep, use, and love for years.
The Linen File Box works with all standard hanging files. Built-in rails make it easy to drop in your favorite hanging folders, including our white Hanging File Folders and every Orderlee Filing System.
Even better in a set.
Our file box stands out, and for a good reason.
Natural Linen Construction
Not canvas. Not fabric-over-fiberboard. Genuine natural linen that photographs beautifully and feels like a piece of home decor, not office storage.
Flush-fit Lid
The lid sits flat and even — no wobble, no overhang, no gap. Most linen file boxes have a flap lid that never closes cleanly. This one was engineered to close properly.
Built-in Label Slot
A recessed label slot on the front accepts the printed label cards that come with every Dailee filing system. No tape, no adhesive, no guesswork.
Integrated Hanging Rails
Metal hanging rails built into the interior allow folders to glide smoothly. No need for a separate file frame insert, the rails are part of the box.
Sized for the Standard
Sized to fit standard letter-size hanging file folders, so you can use the supplies you already have or easily find what you need. Because getting organized should feel simple, accessible, and made for real life.
Designed for The Dailee Systems
The proportions, the neutral linen color, and the tab visibility were all designed around how the Dailee Filing Systems look inside it. These aren't coincidences.
Beautiful enough to leave out. Practical enough to use every day.
Home Office Shelf
The intended home. On a shelf, label visible, easily accessible, next to books and decor.
Cabinet or Closet
Slides into a cabinet or closet shelf. The linen color blends seamlessly into any interior.
Living Room Console
When storage space is limited, or you want to be able to easily access your keepsakes.
Storage Shelf
Storage can be both practical and beautiful. Keep it where it works for your organization system.
A file box worthy of your most important things.
Most file boxes are designed in a conference room. This one was designed in real life and around The Dailee filing systems. The exact proportions for practicality, the natural linen that photographs as beautifully as it looks IRL, the lid that sits flush instead of wobbling, the label slot for practical yet aesthetic organization. Every detail is intentional. That's why it took so long to get just right.
