Social Media Manager
Company Overview
Join our dynamic team at The Dailee, a leading brand in the planner and organization industry. We create tangible and digital products that help people stay productive, organized, and inspired. From beautifully crafted daily planners to innovative iPad designs, our products are beloved by customers for their functionality, style, and type-A approach.
Job Description
The Dailee is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead and grow our presence across all social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. This is a strategic ownership role responsible for our social media end to end — setting strategy, planning and producing content, managing the content calendar, coordinating our monthly photoshoots, leading our community and creator relationships, and using performance data to grow our audience and drive results.
It is a hands-on, high-output position. You’ll own the strategy while also creating, filming, and appearing in content yourself, building out and directing our content efforts as the team grows. We’re looking for someone who pairs strong creative instincts with real strategic and analytical skill, and who can take full ownership of our social channels.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Own The Dailee’s overall social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Develop and maintain content pillars that reflect our brand and speak to our audience
- Own and optimize the cross-platform content calendar, planning around launches, holidays, sales, campaigns, and promotions
- Conduct keyword, hashtag, and platform research to determine the best content and posting times
- Track trends and seasonal insights throughout the year and adapt our approach accordingly
Content Creation & Direction
- Ideate, film, edit, and post a high volume of short-form video and photo content
- Be comfortable appearing on camera, and direct additional content as the team grows
- Optimize each post for the platform it lives on
- Write captions and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels
- Use Canva and CapCut to produce polished, on-brand content
Photoshoots & Production
- Plan, coordinate, and execute monthly product photoshoots, including scheduling, talent, photographers, locations, props, and products
- Build shot lists and prepare everything each shoot requires
- Ensure every shoot captures the assets needed across social, website, email, and paid media
Community & Creator Management
- Engage daily with our followers and creator community, responding to questions and building relationships
- Manage creator gifting and ShopMy — sending product on time and maintaining positive relationships before and after posting
- Download, organize, and maintain our UGC library
- Ensure we’re featuring and gifting the right products based on sales and current priorities
Analytics & Paid Support
- Track performance weekly against the content calendar and report on key metrics (reach, engagement, saves, follower growth, and conversions)
- Use insights to refine content, grow our audience, and improve results
- Create and optimize content for paid ads in coordination with our ad team, ensuring assets are delivered on time for launches and campaigns
Requirements
- 2+ years managing social media for a brand, ideally in e-commerce, DTC, or a creator-driven company
- Proven experience growing and engaging an audience across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Strong content creation skills — filming and editing short-form video — and comfort on camera
- Proficiency with Canva and CapCut
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with social insights and reporting
- Highly organized, with the ability to own a content calendar and manage multiple priorities at once
- Bonus: experience with influencer gifting, UGC, ShopMy, or coordinating photoshoots
What We’re Looking For
- A strategic, creative leader who can take full ownership of our social channels
- Someone as strong at planning and analyzing as they are at creating
- A self-starter who is organized, proactive, and follows through
- A genuine community builder who loves connecting with people online
- Someone who lives and breathes social and spots trends before they peak
Location, Hours & Compensation
- Full-time, based in our Cedarburg, WI office, with a flexible hybrid schedule: in-person Monday–Wednesday and remote Thursday/Friday
- We’re flexible during summer months and school breaks, especially for parents
- Compensation: $60,000–$80,000, based on experience
- The Dailee offers a total compensation package designed to support employees in all aspects of life, including a suite of health benefits, a 401k, generous PTO, and paid parental leave
